The Colorado Black Health Collaborative (CBHC) is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Colorado’s Black and African American communities through collaborations, partnerships, and teaming arrangements with public, private, and community-based organizations.

Improving the quality of Black health was the primary topic of a  “Family Reunion” and town hall conducted in 2008 with several hundred community leaders, nonprofit organizations, health entities, medical providers, and public health administrators expressing their concerns about the health-related issues of Black residents of the states. The group, including young adults to seniors, also expressed frustration with governmental agencies for gathering information but failing to take necessary actions to address the issues.
